City Council Agenda

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Hillsboro shall meet in regular session on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Historic City Hall, 127 E. Franklin Street in Hillsboro, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows:

1. Call Meeting to Order.

2. Invocation.

3. Pledge of Allegiance.

4. Hear Statements from Persons Wishing to Address the Council.

Consent Agenda

5. Deliberate and Act on the Approval of the Minutes for the Regular Meeting on May 2, 2017.

6. Act on the Approval of Bills.

Regular Agenda

7. Deliberate and Act on a Presentation of the 2015-2016 Fiscal Year Audit by Pattillo, Brown & Hill, LLP.

8. Deliberate and Act on a Resolution Regarding a Request by the Main Street Board to Close West Gould Street from Waco Street to Covington Street; and Bond’s Alley Beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 and Re-open Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. for the Purpose of Holding the Bond’s Alley Art Festival June 3 and 4, 2017.

9. Deliberate and Act on a Resolution for the Administration of the Oath of Office and Issuance of the Certificates of Election to the Unopposed Candidates in the Cancelled May 6, 2017 City Officers Election.

10. Hear and Deliberate on City Manager’s Report.
