Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Hillsboro shall hold a Budget Workshop on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. and a Special Meeting at 7:00 p.m. Both the Workshop and Special Meeting will be held at Historic City Hall, 127 E. Franklin in Hillsboro, Texas. The matters to be discussed are as follows:
BUDGET WORKSHOP
1. Call Meeting to Order.
2. Hear a Presentation and Deliberate on a Report by the City Manager and Finance Director Concerning Preliminary Budget Projections.
3. Adjourn Budget Workshop.
SPECIAL MEETING
1. Call Meeting to Order.
2. Invocation.
3. Pledge of Allegiance.
4. Hear Statements From Persons Wishing to Address the Council.
5. Deliberate and Act on a Resolution Accepting the Recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission by Approving a Preliminary and Final Plat “Block 1, Lot 18, Tacker Addition”, to the City of Hillsboro, Being all of That Certain Tract of Land as Described in the Deed From Yolanda Beavers, a Widow, to Roy B. Young Dated September 08, 2011, Recorded in Volume 1687, Page 541, of the Official Public Records of Hill County, Texas and Authorizing the City Manager to Negotiate and Execute all Necessary Documents.
6. Hold a Public Hearing, First Reading, and Deliberate on a Proposed Ordinance Amendment to The Hillsboro Zoning Ordinance by Authority as Referenced in Article 14.100, Chapter 1.10, Authority to Amend Ordinance and Section 1.8, Classification of New and Unlisted Uses. This Application Submitted by Bernardo Bitencourt. DBA Colonial Grand Hall, Who is Requesting a Zoning Classification and Use for a Banquet/Reception Hall- Rental or Leasing, to be Located at 65 W. Franklin St. Hillsboro, TX.
