Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Corporation of Hillsboro, Texas (EDC) will meet on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 12:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Historic City Hall, located at 127 E. Franklin Street in Hillsboro, Texas. The matters to be discussed and potentially acted upon are as follows:
1. Call Meeting to Order.
2. Call Roll.
3. Review and Approve Meeting Minutes from June 23, 2011.
4. Review and Act on Labor Study Proposals, Authorizing EDC Administrator to Negotiate and Execute All Related Documents, if Approved to Proceed.
5. Receive Briefing on Planned Repair Project to Industrial Park Sewer Lines and Appurtenances.
6. Executive Session, if any, Regarding Any Item Posted Below for Which an Executive Session is Authorized by Chapter 551, Texas Government Code.
7. Consultation With Attorney.
8. Personnel Matters.
9. Reconvene into Open Session and Deliberate and Act on Matters Discussed in Executive Session, if Any.
10. Adjourn.
The public is hereby informed that the Hillsboro Economic Development Authority reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any matters listed on the agenda, as authorized by the Texas Government Code, including, but not limited to Sections 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices), 551.087 (Economic Development), 418.175-183 (Deliberations about Homeland Security Issues) and as authorized by the Texas Tax Code, including, but not limited to, Section 321.3022 (Sales Tax Information).
