Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Corporation of Hillsboro, Texas (EDC) will meet on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 5:00 PM. The meeting will be held in the conference room at the City Administration building located at 214 E. Elm Street in Hillsboro, Texas. The matters to be discussed and potentially acted upon are as follows:

1. Call Meeting to Order.

2. Call Roll.

3. Review and Approve Meeting Minutes from April 1, 2010.

4. Discuss and Act on Approval of EDC Waterline Project Bid in Amount of $263,549.75 and Authorize EDC President to Negotiate and Execute Contract.

5. Discuss and Act on Approval of EDC Project for City Rail Right-of-Way Clean Up Bid and Authorize EDC President to Negotiate and Execute Contract.

6. Discuss and Act on Approval of EDC Project for City Rail Right-of-Way Groundskeeping Bid and Authorize EDC President to Negotiate and Execute Contract.

7. Receive and Act on EDC Administrator’s Report

A. Cornerstone Bankruptcy Proceeding

B. Lone Star Electric Transmission Line Status

C. Filing of Consent Form with Internal Revenue Service Authorizing Release of Information to US Department of Agriculture

D. Request IRS Governmental Status Letter

E. Set Date for Annual Industrial Development Corporation Meeting

8. Executive Session, if any, Regarding Any Item Posted Below for Which an Executive Session is Authorized by Chapter 551, Texas Government Code.

A. Economic Development

B. Deliberations About Real Property

C. Personnel Matters – Duties of EDC Attorney

9. Reconvene into Open Session and Deliberate and Act on Matters Discussed in Executive Session, if Any.

10. Adjourn.

The public is hereby informed that the Hillsboro Economic Development Authority reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any matters listed on the agenda, as authorized by the Texas Government Code, including, but not limited to Sections 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices), 551.087 (Economic Development), 418.175-183 (Deliberations about Homeland Security Issues) and as authorized by the Texas Tax Code, including, but not limited to, Section 321.3022 (Sales Tax Information).
