Notice is hereby given that the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Hillsboro shall meet in regular session Monday, May 1, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Historic City Hall, located at 127 E. Franklin Street in Hillsboro, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows:


  1. Call Meeting to Order.
  2. Deliberate and Act on the Approval of Minutes of the April 10, 2017 Meeting.
  3. Review an Application for a Specific Use Permit Submitted by Omega Healthcare Investors, Inc. on Behalf of OHI Asset (TX) Hillsboro, LLC, Who Wishes to Operate a Nursing Home Facility Located in an “NC” Neighborhood Commercial Zone. All that Certain Lot, Tract or Parcel of Land Located in Hill County, Texas and Being Lot One R (1-R), Block Twelve (12), Country Club Estates Addition, Hill County, Texas According to the Plat Recorded in Volume 472, Page 341, Plat Records and in Slide B-5, Plat Records, Hill County, Texas. Located on Old Brandon Road East of Rhoads Street, Hillsboro, Texas. This Use is Allowed Only by a Specific Use Permit.
  4. Review an Application Submitted by Paula Z. Montes to Re-Plat Thompson Addition, Being a Part of Lots 1, 2, 3 ,4, and 5, Block 4, Thompson Addition to the City of Hillsboro, Texas, according to the plat recorded in Volume 18, Page 368 in the Deed Records, Hill County, Texas, being the same tract of land described in the deed to Paula Z. Montes recorded in Volume 1878, Page 848, in the Official Public Records, Hill County, Texas and Becoming, Lots 6R, 7R, 8R, 9R, and 10R, Thompson Addition to the City of Hillsboro, Texas These Properties are Located Between Abernathy Street and Lamar Street at Crumley Street.
  5. Hear Comments from People Wishing to Address the Commission.
  6. Hear a Report from the Community Development Director.
  7. Adjourn.
