Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Hillsboro shall meet in regular session on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Historic City Hall, 127 E. Franklin Street in Hillsboro, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows:

1. Call Meeting to Order.

2. Invocation.

3. Pledge of Allegiance.

4. Hear Statements from Persons Wishing to Address the Council.

5. Deliberate and Act on the Approval of the Minutes for the Regular Meeting on January 19, 2010.

6. Act on the Approval of Bills.

Regular Agenda

7. Deliberate and Act on a Resolution Calling for a Municipal Election to be Held on May 8, 2010 for the Purpose of Electing, Three City Councilmembers; Place 2, Precinct #2; Place 4, Precinct #4; Place 6, Elected At Large; Establishing the Location, Days and Times Where Early Voting by Personal Appearance Will Be Conducted and Establishing the Location, Day and Time Where Election Day Will Be Conducted; Designating Where Applications for Ballot by Mail Should Be Mailed; and Naming the City Secretary as the Early Voting Clerk.

Deliberar y actuar en una resolucion llamando para una Eleccion Municipal que se llevara a cabo el 8 de Mayo del 2010 con el proposito de elegir a 3 miembros del ayuntamineto; lugar 2, precinto 2; lugar 4 precinto 4; lugar 6, elegido en libertad; establecer la ubicacion, dias, y horiarios donde la votacion por adelantado en persona se realizara y establecer la ubicacion, dia, y horario donde las elecciones se realizaran; designar el lugar donde las solicitudes para boletas de votacion por correo se tendran que enviar; y nombrar la secretaria de la ciudad como la secretaria del la votacion por adelantado.

8. Deliberate and Act on a Resolution Accepting a Special Project Grant Funded by the Congress in the Department of Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Act, 2009 (PL 111-8) in the Amount of $190,000, (Project No. B-09-SP-TX-0126) and Authorizing the City Manager to Negotiate and Execute All Necessary Documents.

9. Deliberate and Act on a Resolution Approving the Hillsboro Economic Development Corporation’s Investment Policy.

10. Hear and Deliberate on City Manager’s Report.
