Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Hillsboro shall meet in regular session on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Historic City Hall, 127 E. Franklin Street in Hillsboro, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows:

1. Call Meeting to Order.

2. Invocation.

3. Pledge of Allegiance.

4. Hear Statements from Persons Wishing to Address the Council.

Consent Agenda

5. Deliberate and Act on the Approval of the Minutes for the Special and Regular Meetings on October 20, 2009.

6. Act on the Approval of Bills.

Regular Agenda

7. Deliberate and Act on a Resolution Updating the City’s Investment Policy.

8. Deliberate and Act on a Resolution to Review Bids and Award a Contract to Perform Improvements to the City’s Wastewater Collection System, Authorizing the City Manager to Negotiate and Execute All Necessary Documents.

9. Deliberate and Act on a Resolution Authorizing Freese and Nichols, Inc., Sefko Planning Group to Perform Consultant Services, Initiating Priority One Area of the Growth Management Study as Incorporated in the City’s Comprehensive Plan.

10. Hear and Deliberate on City Manager’s Report.

11. Hold a Closed Session Under the Provisions of Section 551.074 of the Local Government Code, (Personnel, Annual Evaluation of City Manager.)

12. Reconvene in Open Session.

13. Deliberate and Act on Matters Discussed in the Closed Session, if Any.

14. Adjourn.

The City Council reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices), and 551.087 (Economic Development).
