CITY COUNCIL AGENDA

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Hillsboro shall hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. and a Regular Meeting at 7:00 p.m. Both the Special and Regular Meetings will be held at Historic City Hall, 127 E. Franklin in Hillsboro, Texas. The matters to be discussed are as follows:

 

SPECIAL MEETING

1. Call Meeting to Order.

2. Hold a Closed Session Under the Provisions of Section 551.071 of Government Code (Consultation With Attorney)

3. Reconvene in Open Session.

4. Deliberate and Act on Matters Discussed in Executive Session, If Any.

5. Adjourn Special Meeting.

 

REGULAR MEETING

1. Call Meeting to Order.

2. Invocation.

3. Pledge of Allegiance.

4. Hear Statements From Persons Wishing to Address the Council.

Consent Agenda

5. Deliberate and Act on the Approval of the Minutes for the Special and Regular Meetings on June 5, 2012.

6. Act on the Approval of Bills.

Regular Agenda

7. Deliberate and Act on a Resolution Authorizing a Cooperative Agreement by and Between the Heart of Texas Efficient Towns and Counties Co-op and the City of Hillsboro, Designating a Representative to Serve on the Heart of Texas Efficient Towns and Counties Co-op Steering Committee and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute and Negotiate All Necessary Documents.

8. Deliberate and Act on a Resolution Authorizing Submission of 2013/2014 Texas Community Development Program Application and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute and Negotiate All Necessary Documents.

9. Deliberate and Act on a Resolution Adopting the 10 T.A.C. Section 1.13 – Complaint System Procedural Requirements for Responding to Local Complaints Regarding the City of Hillsboro’s Texas Community Development Block Grant Program.

10. Hear and Deliberate on City Manager’s Report.
