Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Hillsboro shall meet in Special Session on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Historic City Hall, 127 E. Franklin Street in Hillsboro, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows:

1. Call Meeting to Order.

2. Hold a Public Hearing, First Reading of an Ordinance, and Deliberate on a Voluntary Annexation Request to Institute Annexation Proceedings to Enlarge and Extend All That Certain Lot, Tract or Parcel of Land Lying in the Dixon Spears Survey, Abstract 838 and the Henry Ross Survey, Abstract 755, Being a Part of That Certain Tract of Land Described as 3.08 Acres With 1.32 Acres Located Outside the Corporate City Limits in the Warranty Deed from Hillsboro Auction Company to Hill County Paw Pals Dated December 31, 2009, Recorded in Volume 1625, Page 516 of the Official Public Records of Hill County, Texas.

3. Deliberate and Act on a Resolution Accepting the Recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission for a Preliminary and Final Plat of “Hill County Paw Pals Addition” Block 1, Lot 1, to the City of Hillsboro, Texas and Authorizing the Appropriate City Officials to Execute Necessary Documents.

4. Deliberate and Act on a Resolution Accepting the Recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission For a Preliminary and Final Plat of “Rivers of Praise Church Addition”, Block 1, Lot 1, to the City of Hillsboro Extraterritorial Jurisdiction, Hill County, Texas and Authorizing the Appropriate City Officials to Execute Necessary Documents.

5. Adjourn.
