Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Corporation of Hillsboro, Texas (EDC) will meet on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 12:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Historic City Hall located at 127 E. Franklin Street in Hillsboro, Texas. The matters to be discussed and potentially acted upon are as follows:
1. Call Meeting to Order.
2. Recognize Billy Don Curbo as Board Member.
3. Call Roll.
4. Approve Meeting Minutes from August 28, 2009.
5. Introduction of Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce Director Greg Solomon and City of Hillsboro Finance Director Dale Snyder
6. Receive and Act on Administrator’s Report Items.
A. City Secretary Accepting Applications for Board Positions Expiring December 31, 2009
B. Upcoming Existing Business Lunch Meeting, with City Emergency Preparedness as Topic
C. Texas Workforce Development Grant Being Sought for Healthcare Worker Training
D. Texas Economic Development Summit in Dallas, November 4, 2009
E. Airport Commercial Hanger Construction Progress
7. Consider and Act on Initiating Process to Prepare for EDC to Replace Industrial Development Corporation as Processor of Industrial Revenue Bonds
8. Executive Session, if any, Regarding any Item Posted Below for Which an Executive Session is Authorized by Chapter 551, Texas Government Code.
9. Deliberations about Real Property.
