Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Corporation of Hillsboro, Texas (EDC) will meet on Monday, January 25, 2010 at 11:45 AM. The meeting will be held at the El Conquistador Restaurant located at 1516 Old Brandon Road in Hillsboro, Texas. The matters to be discussed and potentially acted upon are as follows:

1. Call Meeting to Order.

2. Call Roll.

3. Approve Meeting Minutes from October 26, 2009.

4. Elect 2010 Officers and Set Quarterly 2010 Meeting Calendar

5. Read City Council Resolution of Appreciation for Director James A. Showers Into Minutes

6. Discuss and Adopt Financial Investment Policy, to Include Designating City as EDC’s Fiduciary Agent and City Finance Director as EDC’s Investment Officer

7. Adjourn.

The public is hereby informed that the Hillsboro Economic Development Authority reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any matters listed on the agenda, as authorized by the Texas Government Code, including, but not limited to Sections 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices), 551.087 (Economic Development), 418.175-183 (Deliberations about Homeland Security Issues) and as authorized by the Texas Tax code, including, but not limited to, Section 321.3022 (Sales Tax Information).
