Historic Preservation Commission Agenda

Notice is hereby given that the Historic Preservation Commission of the City of Hillsboro shall meet in Regular Session on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Historic City Hall, located at 127 E. Franklin Street in Hillsboro, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows:

 

  1. Call Meeting to Order and Determine Quorum.
  2. Deliberate and Act on Official Minutes From the August 3, 2017 Meeting.
  3. Deliberate and Act on Application of Certificate of Appropriateness Submitted by Henry Moore, For a Roof Replacement at 130 Craig Street.
  4. Deliberate and Act on Application of Certificate of Appropriateness Submitted by Scott Hunt, (Salt and Light Construction LLC.) to Paint Original Exterior Siding, and to Install a Porte Cochere at 516 East Franklin Street.
  5. Deliberate and Act on Application of Certificate of Appropriateness Submitted by Narciso Lopez of Lopez Tire Company, to Paint Exterior Buiding at 101 North Waco Street.
  6. Deliberate and Act on Application of Certificate of Appropriateness Submitted by Andrew & Leann Richmond to Replace Wrap-Around Porch Wood, to Repair Existing & Place New Columns, to Paint Exterior, & to Remove Carriage House/Shop at 212 Corsicana Street.
  7. Deliberate and Act on Application of Certificate of Appropriateness Submitted by Stephanie Lammers to Install a Porte Cochere 20’ by 30’, & a Porte Cochere for Outdoor Kitchen at 300 Corsicana Street.
  8. Deliberate and Act on Application of Certificate of Appropriateness Submitted by Will Lowrance to Repaint 400 Corsicana Street and Garage with Existing Historic Colors.
  9. Deliberate and Act on Application of Certificate of Appropriateness Submitted by Randy Patterson to Erect an 8 Foot Natural Wood Fence Along the East and South Property Line at 120-124 East Elm Street.
  10. Hear a Report from City Staff on Upcoming Board Appointments and Those Commissioner’s Terms That Are Ending and that Need to Complete Applications for Re-Appointment.
  11. Comments from the Public.
  12. Adjournment.
