Notice is hereby given that the Main Street Advisory Board of the City of Hillsboro shall meet in session Monday, October 26, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Historic City Hall located at 127 E. Franklin Street in Hillsboro, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows:

1. Call Meeting to Order.

2. Deliberate & Act on Sign Permit Application for McDonald Furniture and

hear from Danny McDonald.

3. Deliberate & Act on Main Street Grant Application for Johnson Cleaners.

4. Deliberate & Act on minutes from September 14, 2009 advisory board meeting.

5. Deliberate & Act on Main Street Monthly Report for September.

6. Deliberate & Act on 3Q Reinvestment Report.

7. Hear Walking Tour Brochure Committee Report.

8. Hear Streetscape Banner Committee Report.

9. Hear Promotions Committee Report.

10.Hear Main Street Manager’s Report on:

a. Visitors Survey Results

b. Centennial Celebration

c. Downtown Lunch with City Manager

d. Update on Grants

11. Adjourn.

NOTICE OF ASSISTANCE AT THE PUBLIC MEETINGS

The Historic City Hall is wheelchair accessible. Persons with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who may need auxiliary aids or services such as interpreters for persons who are deaf or hearing impaired, readers, or large print, are requested to contact the Main Street Manager’s office at (254) 582-5499 or by FAX at (254) 580-1459 at least two (2) working days prior to the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
