NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE PLANNING & ZONING BOARD OF THE CITY OF HILLSBORO WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING AT THE HISTORIC CITY HALL, 127 EAST FRANKLIN STREET, HILLSBORO, TEXAS ON MONDAY, JULY 23, 2012 AT 6:00 P.M. TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:
1. Review a Preliminary and Final Plat “Block 1, Lot 18, Tacker Addition”, to the City of Hillsboro All that certain lot, tract, or parcel of land situated in the J. A. Hanley Survey, Abstract No. 403 in the City of Hillsboro, Hill County, Texas, being all of that certain tract of land described as 0.34 acres of land in the deed from Yolanda Beavers, a widow, to Roy B. Young dated September 08, 2011, recorded in Volume 1687, Page 541, of the Official Public Records of Hill County, Texas.
2. Review and Consider a Change of The Hillsboro Zoning Ordinance, Article 14.100, Chapter 1.10, Authority to Amend Ordinance and Section 1.8, Classification of New and Unlisted Uses. This Application Submitted by Bernardo Bitencourt. DBA Colonial Grand Hall, Who is Requesting a Zoning Classification and Use for a Banquet/Reception Hall- Rental or Leasing, to be located at 65 W. Franklin St. Hillsboro, TX.
3. Review an Application for a Specific Use Permit Submitted by Bernardo Bitencourt. DBA Colonial Grand Hall, Who Wishes to Operate Banquet/Reception Hall-rental or leasing, to be located at 65 W. Franklin St. Hillsboro, TX. Located in the Central Business District.
The City Council will meet in Special Meeting (if a quorum is present) on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, 7:00 p.m., if no quorum is present the council will meet in Regular Meeting on August 7, 2012, 7:00 p.m., at The Historic City Hall, 127 E. Franklin Street in Hillsboro Texas to Act Upon the Recommendations of the Commission.
