Planning & Zoning Agenda

Notice is hereby given that the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Hillsboro shall meet in regular session Monday, August 27, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Historic City Hall, located at 127 E. Franklin Street in Hillsboro, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows:

  1. Call Meeting to Order.
  2. Deliberate and Act on the Approval of Minutes of the August 13, 2018 Meeting.
  3. Deliberate and Act on an application from Tucker Partners and Mr. Delfino Diaz to re-zone property located at 209 W. Walnut St. from Heavy Industrial (I-2) to Light Industrial (I-1). All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land located in Hill County, Texas and being Lot One (1), Block Forty-Seven (47) of McMullen Addition, in the City of Hillsboro, Hill County, Texas.
  4. Deliberate and Act on an Amendment of the Terms of the 2007 Zoning Ordinance, Known as Ordinance O2007-01-01 (Last Amended by Ordinance O2016-02-02), Whereby the Purpose of this Proposed Zoning District is to Create and Designate a New Zoning Classification “Restricted Neighborhood Commercial (RNC)”, This New Proposed District is Primarily Intended as a Transitional District to Allow for Some Commercial Uses While Protecting the Integrity of the Neighboring Residential Districts and Uses.
  5. Hear Comments from People Wishing to Address the Commission.
  6. Hear a Report from the Community Development Director.
  7. Adjourn.
