2nd Annual Hillsboro Historic Preservation Awards Dinner
In celebration of Historic Preservation Month, the Hillsboro Historic Preservation Commission and the Hillsboro Main Street Board will co-sponsor an awards dinner on Friday, April 30, 2010 beginning at 6:30 pm. The dinner and awards presentations will be held at Historic City Hall, 127 E. Franklin Street. Cost for the dinner will be $15.00 per person. Reservation deadline is Wednesday, April 28, 2010 by 5:00 p.m.
Categories for the awards will include residential, commercial and industrial structures – exterior and interior; landscaping; adaptive renovation usage; media; other categories to be announced; and the Main Street Board Award. Both public and private preservation efforts will be recognized. A printable Nomination Form is available here. The form will also appear in the Hillsboro Reporter and in the April issue of the city newsletter. You may nominate your favorite preservation project by completing the form and returning to Betty Harrell, Main Street Manager, at the Marketing and Development Offices, 127 E.
