Question: How do I get a copy of my Criminal Record?

Answer:

Criminal Records are maintained by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Question: Where do I renew my Driver License?

Answer:

The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is located at 126 S. Covington Street.

Question: Is there a Teen Curfew in Hillsboro?

Answer:

Yes, curfew hours are 11:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. on any of the following nights: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday; and 12:00 midnight until 6:00 a.m. on any Friday or Saturday nights. However, during June 1st through August 15th, curfew hours means 12:00 midnight until 6:00 a.m. every night.

Question: How can I get a copy of an accident report?

Answer:

Accident reports can be picked up 10 working days after the date of the accident at 303 N. Waco St. at the Hillsboro Police Department. The cost is $6.00 for the report.

Answer:

Police reports can be picked up 10 working days after the date of the incident at 303 N. Waco Street at the Hillsboro Police Department. the cost is $6.00 for the report.

Question: Can citizens ride out with police officers on patrol?

Answer:

Yes. You will have to fill out a liability waiver which includes a background check and a driver license check.

Question: How do I report a traffic complaint in my neighborhood, such as speeding, people running red lights or stop signs?

Answer:

You can send an email to Hillsboro Police Department@hillsborotx.org or call non-emergency (254) 582-8407 ext. 10. For emergencies, dial 911.

Question: How do I know if my pet was impounded?

Answer:

Call the Hillsboro Police Department (254) 582-8406.

Question: Where do I go to pay a citation (ticket)?

Answer:

The City of Hillsboro Municipal Court, 115 Waco Street. Call (254) 582-9634.
