The 18th Annual Veterans Day Parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 11th.  Following the parade, there will be a special program at the “For All Veterans” Memorial on the Hill County Courthouse lawn.

Vietnam Veteran Bill Barner will be the keynote speaker for this year’s program.  Mr. Barner served in the United States Army as an E-5, 13E20 fire-direction control specialist.

Glenn Doyle will sing the patriotic song entitled “There She Stands.”  The Hillsboro Golden Eagle Band will perform with featured singers Elexus Dickerson, Alana Marsh and Kendra Campbell as they sing “God Bless America.”

Organizations and individuals are invited to lay wreaths at the memorial.  Read more about all local Veterans Day events in the Hillsboro Reporter.
