The Corsicana Street Late Bloomers 28th annual parade will form at the corner of Thompson and Corsicana streets Wednesday morning at 9:30 am. The parade will get underway at 10 am.

Area residents are invited to walk, ride bicycles, drive vehicles or saddle-up their favorite horses and participate in this community event. There is only one requirement. All participants must show their patriotic spirit by displaying the red, white and blue colors.

The Late Bloomers recently selected their 2012 “Miss Late Bloomer.” The winner’s identity remains a secret, and will be revealed the week of the parade.
