HCGS to Welcome Genealogist Lloyd D. Bockstruck on September 13th

The Hill County Genealogical Society is very honored to have Mr. Lloyd D. Bockstruck of Dallas be the guest speaker at the Monday, September 13th, meeting beginning at 6:30 pm in the Hill County Courthouse Annex meeting room at 126 South Covington Street in downtown Hillsboro. Mr. Bockstruck is a well known genealogist and former columnist for The Dallas Morning News on the subject of genealogy. Mr. Bockstruck is also associated with the Dallas Public Library’s Genealogical and Historical Department. Guests are welcome to attend and participate.

Prior to the meeting, those who wish to have dinner with Mr. Bockstruck are welcome to join us at 5:30 pm at Frenkie’s Pasta and Pizza restaurant on the north side of the Hill County Courthouse, 57 West Franklin Street . Please give Cleo Davis a call at 254-582-3603 and leave a message as to how many reservations you need so we will be sure to have enough seating for everyone or you may email cleodavis@sbcglobal.net.

We hope to have a good crowd to welcome Mr. Bockstruck to Hillsboro and to the Hill County Genealogical Society. The next meeting will be October 11th.
