The Hillsboro Economic Development Corporation has the responsibility of promoting economic development and advising the City Council with regard to incentives as they relate to the City’s development within the commercial and industrial district.  Efforts of the Economic Development Corp. are designed to help strengthen and diversify the local economy. 

Note: The seven (7) appointed members of The Hillsboro Economic Development Corporation shall serve concurrently as members of the Hillsboro Industrial Development Corporation.

This board meets as needed at a location and time determined by the liaison.
