Job opening announcements are made public through publication in The Reporter
Newspaper, posting at the City Administrative Office, and on the City’s web page
at www.hillsborotx.org/jobs.

Employment applications may be turned in personally at the City Administration Office on 214 E. Elm Street. You may fax your application to 254-582-0112, Attention HR Department. You may mail your application to P.O. BOX 568, Hillsboro, Texas, 76645.

In order to apply for a job opening, a completed employment application is required. You may attach a resume at that time.

A job opening must be posted for which you are applying.

The HR office is located at 214 E. Elm Street.

You must complete an employment application for each job posting you are applying for.

For each available job posted on the City’s website there is a job description that will list experience and/or licenses required for that position. Job descriptions may also be picked up at the City Administration Office at 214 E. Elm Street.
