About Us
The Hillsboro Historic City Hall was built in 1883 and served as the City of Hillsboro's Fire and Police Station. The footprint of the building has remained consistent throughout the City of Hillsboro's history, though there were renovations in the 50’s and again in 2007. Today, Historic City Hall hosts city council meetings, a variety of community meetings, and is a rent-able venue for public and private events.

Basic Rental Information:
•    Rental fees include utilities, use of kitchen, sound system, tables and chairs, cleaned hall and restroom areas.
•    Security Deposit: $200.00
•    Rental Hall 4 hour minimum: $200
•    Additional regular hours: $75 per hr
•    Special hours (after 10p.m.:) $100 per hr
•    Optional Services:
•    Tablecloth rental: $4.00 each
•    Security/Officer: $45.00 per hr ( 3 hr minimum)
•    Non-Profit Organizations: $100 flat fee (no deposit required)
* Fees are not returned for unused time that was rented*
  • The security deposit  is required up front to hold the rental date. Reservations are not accepted without the security deposit. Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. 
  • Historic City Hall is available for rental between 8:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m., Monday- Sunday, holidays may be excluded.
  • The meeting hall can hold up to 150 persons seated at tables. No more than 200 for standing room only.
  • The Historic City Hall has an inventory of 33-round tables, 85-White folding chairs, 11-8 ft rectangles, and 3-6 ft rectangle tables.
  • Set up and break down is included in your rental hours.  
  • Alcohol is permitted at the Historic City Hall with the approval of the facility administration and a copy of an approved security plan from the City of Hillsboro Police Department.
  • Firearms are prohibited except as authorized by law.
  • * Historic City Hall is a NON-SMOKING facility. No smoking is allowed inside of the building at any time.*
