The City of Hillsboro Elevated Industrial Water Tower Project Phase II includes the installation of a pump station and ground storage tank that connect to the new 500,000 gallon elevated storage. The project was mostly funded by Texas Water Development Board using SRF Funding through the EPA, with local funding making up the balance. This project used those dollars to improve water service for roughly 1/3 of the City of Hillsboro, including our Industrial Park and major employers. The new water supply has improved pressure and reliability.
