  1. Can I reserve a pavilion at City Park or Wallace Park?
  2. Do I have to reserve a facility to use it?
  3. Can I reserve a baseball field at Wallace Park?
  4. I want to sign my child up for sports.

Question: Can I reserve a pavilion at City Park or Wallace Park?

Answer:

Yes, reservations can be placed on either pavilion at both parks. Reservation forms are filled out at Public Works either by the secretary or parks superintendent. Once reservation fee with cleaning deposit is paid at the City Administration Office, the facility is considered reserved. Pavilion reservation fee is $25 with a cleaning deposit of $50. If facility area is left clean, the cleaning deposit will be refunded within a couple of weeks.

Question: Do I have to reserve a facility to use it?

Answer:

No, but if someone has reserved a facility, then you must leave that area for the time allotted on the reservation form. All pavilions are “first come first serve” as long as no reservation has been paid for.

Question: Can I reserve a baseball field at Wallace Park?

Answer:

Yes, reservations can be placed on these fields. Reservation forms are filled out at Public Works by parks superintendent. Consideration must be taken not to conflict with high school’s game schedule or Hillsboro Sports Association’s game schedules. Cost to reserve a game baseball field is $50 plus a cleaning deposit of $50. Cleaning deposit will be refunded within a couple of weeks if game field area is left clean.
